In Order to provide an avenue and encourage the dormant artistic qualities in the physically handicapped competitions are held at the Aurangabad district level specially for the blind, mentally retarded, deaf and dumb. The participants are given Certificates while minors are awarded suitable prizes as a token of appreciation and encouragement. In 1989 with the accreditations from the Technical Board Mumbai. Trust started training 1) “Craft Teacher ” 2) “Tailoring cutting” and 3) “Wireman” courses.
The intake capacity is 25 for each course with the basic minimum qualification 7th to 12th Std pass in this training program “Craft Teacher”, “Tailoring Cutting” and “Electric Wireman” courses are free. The Trust owns 15000 Sq. ft area in the central portion of the city. The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation had donated Rs.40 Lacks for the construction of Hostel and Classroom for the trainees. The Hostel can easily accommodate 40 trainees. The Monthly expenditure Rs.75,000/- The Hostel being run on No grant basis but with the help of donors & well wishers.
The state Govt. has extended all possible co-operation by listing down the Trusts name in its Resolution (Rate contract copy enclosed) as acquire orders for manufacturing item Case board, File cover, Box file, etc. This is to request you to kindly encourage the trainees by way of either placing or procuring orders to facilitate the Trusts working and rehabilitation of the Divyang. You can place order for your offices, institution or personal use Files, Envelops (Printed with name & address) and binding works, Chair caning & repairing.
During the training period Divyang persons earned stipend of Rs. 1000 to 3000 per month with Completion Govt. Certificate courses.
In the month of Feb.2020 Trust has organized free checkup camp for 3 days and find out the needy Divyang 300 people. For Artificial Limb, Caliper & other needs due to pandemic (COVID) distribution of equipment’s postponed after that in the month of 26 to 31 Oct 2020. Institutions arrange to distribute 206 Artificial Limbs, Caliper to 161 beneficiaries. Free of cost with the help of SHWE New Delhi. Institution has appreciated 2 days camp with the help of National Association for the Blind new Delhi and Mobile apps phones distributed to needy college going girl and given special training with the trainer Mr. Mukesh to teach now to cross the road, use of white sticks to male and Female blind.
Our aim is to make the Trust self sustaining.
